My name is Lauren Friedly, and I am currently a senior digital marketing student at Salisbury University. Growing up. I’ve always loved art and even placed in my first art show at the age of 8.

My first pet portrait was created in middle school, etched into a scratchboard of my black lab, Cinder. As I progressed  through schooling, I attended numerous Art camps and filled my schedule with as many art classes as I could. By the time I graduated, I had completed a wide range of courses, including drawing, painting, ceramics, mixed media, AP drawing, as well as print media and design.

Now that I am in college, I do commissioned pet portraits in a variety of mediums. This way, I can give the client exactly what they’re looking for when it comes to capturing the likeness of their pets, because pets are loved ones too. For the future, I hope to graduate in the Spring of 2026 and pursue a career where I can utilize my love and knowledge of art in a professional and successful field.
